Michael Barbaro, the host of the popular New York Times podcast“The Daily”(that I listen to every single morning during my run, an important part of my routine) came over to my studio after seeing my paintings on Instagram. Noticing the similarity between the gradient design of the The Daily cover art and my sunrise gradients, I created a special painting on the cover of the Times that matched the podcast art, and just for fun, Michael recorded a riff on his trademark opening line.
